Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. -Ephesians 4:2 NIV
Sometimes a little compassion goes a long way. As we humble ourselves we can see the world around us with a different perspective. When we are humble we can see the pain, frustration, and sadness in others. This humbleness builds a character to be “…gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love” [a], and sometimes that’s all a person really needs that day.
Remember, “you are fearfully and wonderfully made” [b] in God’s image. This means you are created to represent Him as a person of love. ❤
Prayer: Father, thank you for choosing us to be your representation of love to those who are hurting. Help us to be humble so we can see those around us and we can help them with your loving Word of compassion, encouragement, and demonstrate Your victory in their lives. Give us the right heart and the right words to say to them, so they know You love them through us. In Jesus name, amen.
