You Are Stronger Than You Think

Do you know you are fearfully and wonderfully made?  You are probably wondering what I am talking about?

Psalm 139:14 says, “God made you in an amazing and wonderful way” (NCV). In another version it says you are, “marvelously set apart” (CEB). Can you believe that?  It’s like you are a designer purse or a pair of shoes and there is only one original.  You are set apart and made in an amazing and wonderful way!  God the creator, made you exactly who you are for a wonderful purpose in life.

You are a strong woman.  You are valuable, beautiful, intelligent, caring, trustworthy, respected, an entrepreneur, a teacher to others, an advisor, creator of things, dignified, wise, a mother, a sister, a friend, a wife… of royal descent.  I probably threw you off with the royal descent. God is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  You are the daughter of the Most High King.  That makes you royal.  Do you believe it?  Look at all these descriptive words and see them for the definition they hold and their significance in someone’s life. Interesting enough, God, the Father, created you to be those things and that’s how you should be treated and how you should treat others.

God has plan for you no matter the circumstance.  What you are going through right now is making you stronger, more independent, wiser and when you get through it, accomplished.  Trust me, I speak out of experience. There was a time when I felt like the water around me was so high, I couldn’t tread water anymore. Do you know what I mean?  It’s as if you were drowning.  Yet, somehow with prayer and perseverance, I made it through!  I came out of it stronger, more independent, accomplished and wiser.

Because you are such a strong woman already, you can make it through another day. God created you that way! Imagine someone in the military who is trained to fight to the very end. Well, your training is your circumstance, your fight is your perseverance, and your end is your wise council to others. Nothing in life is in vain. You are stronger than you think!

Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made because God created you to be strong, valuable, beautiful, intelligent, caring, trustworthy, respected, an entrepreneur, a teacher to others, an advisor, creator of things, dignified, wise, a mother, a sister, a friend, a wife… of royal descent.  In the Bible, God thinks of you so highly that Proverbs 3:15 states, “She is more precious than rubies, nothing you desire can compare with her” (NIV).  He sees you. Not your circumstance, not your past mistakes. You.

God loves you. He admires you. He sees you with all those descriptive words above because He created you to be that way. It’s up to you to believe it for yourself.  ❤

PRAYER: God, thank you for loving me so much. Thank you for seeing me in such a way even when it is hard for me to see. Thank you for giving me the ability to persevere and the strength to take care of others and myself, while becoming stronger, more independent, accomplished, and wiser.  In Jesus name, Amen.
